United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI)

The beginning of December saw us being accepted as a United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) member. UNAI is a diverse network of students, academics, scientists, researchers, think tanks, institutions of higher education, continuing education and educational associations from across the globe. UNAI helps higher education institutes to align their initiatives with those of the United Nations particularly in terms of promoting the protection of human rights, access to education for all, sustainability and conflict resolution. To this effect, and in support of the UNAI initiative, Cyprus West University committed to actively engaging and raising awareness in Human Rights, Environmental Rights and Responsibility, elimination and reduction of Discrimination and Corruption.

CWU commits to ensuring high standards of openness and integrity in all its operations. We pledge to ensure a safe sustainable working and educational environment, becoming a responsible organization that respects, supports and protects human rights.
